In my final year I finally got around to being a Vice President on our schools EngSoc. I held the VP Internal Affairs position for 2021/2022.
I also developed the website otengsoc.ca
Women in engineering gave me the chance to connect to other women engineering students and professionals. Here I built skills I'd use in the workforce and make lifelong friends.
To say I have school spirit is an understatement. I was honored to participate in planning 4 orientations over my years I not only played a role in the behind the scenes but you could often find me up front leading the group cheers.
The senior peer leader role supervises and conducts monthly meetings with a team of 14 Peer Leaders. I also developed and delivered orientation programming and act as a resource for my team during the event.
The ambassador program has a tiered system, where I reached the highest level by my 4th year. In this position I worked with a team to create Road to Equity: a podcast talking about equity issues on and in the campus community.

My first of many panels I would be on in my university career. Winter 2018 in my first year. I would go on to participate in panels for other open houses, GoCode girl events, recruitment fairs, and student feedback meetings.
